Legend of the French team, Thierry Henry, affirmed that Lionel Messi absolutely deserves to win the 2023 Ballon d’Or.

Sharing on Sky Sports, Thierry Henry said that Lionel Messi deserves to win the 2023 Ballon d’Or with his explosive performance in Argentina’s championship journey in the 2022 World Cup.

“Many people can argue about the Ballon d’Or, but for me if you win the World Cup like Messi did with Argentina, then he deserves it. As a Frenchman, I’m a bit disappointed with the result of the match World Cup final, but I have to admit that Messi really deserves everything he has done.”

Henry affirmed that Messi absolutely deserves to win the 2023 Ballon d’Or.
