Taylor Swift fans scream and WEEP hysterically as the popstar snaps selfies with them in behind-the-scenes red carpet footage from her Eras Tour movie premiere

Some very lucky Taylor Swift fans had their dreams come true when they had the chance to meet the popstar at the red carpet premiere of her Eras Tour movie – and their very dramatic reactions were captured on tape.

The singer, 33, stopped by The Grove in Los Angeles, California, on Wednesday evening to celebrate the release of her upcoming concert film, which will hit theaters across the world tonight.

After posing in front of the hoards of photographers, Taylor rushed over to greet some of the die-hard Swifties who had been lined up for hours in the hopes of getting a glimpse of her.

As expected, many of the fans couldn’t contain their excitement over coming face to face with their idol, and behind-the-scenes footage of the event showed them screaming and weeping hysterically.

The Cruel Summer songstress was seen making her way down the barricade filled to the brim with her supporters, taking time to chat with many of them, hugging them, and even snapping selfies with some.

Many of the fans became overwhelmed with emotion, bursting into tears or covering their mouth in awe as Taylor greeted them.

Others held their composure, only to erupt into sobs as soon as she walked away.

Taylor dazzled at the event in a $12,000 powder blue Oscar de la Renta strapless gown, which she paired with a pair of open-toed heels.

The hitmaker accessorized with a slew of dainty beaded bracelets and a diamond choker necklace with matching earrings.

She wore piercing makeup which included bold blue eyeshadow, drastic cat-like eyeliner, and her signature bright red lipstick, and styled her dirty blonde curls in a chic faux bob.

Taylor shutdown the iconic shopping center to host over 2,200 of her most devoted Swifties, who she personally selected to get a first-look at the concert footage on the big screen.

The film – which has already amassed a whopping $100 million in presale tickets alone – documents one of the six sold-out shows Taylor performed at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, over the summer as part of her ongoing Eras Tour, which kicked off in March and serves as a retrospective of her 17-year career.

Inside the event, the 12-time Grammy winner gave a heartfelt speech to the sea of fans, gushing over how ‘special’ it was to ‘capture the memories of this tour.’

‘You’ve all been handpicked to be at this premiere, did you know that?’ she said as the crowd cheered.

‘OK good I’m glad that’s not weird for you because I do like to watch what you guys are up to.’

She added: ‘The capturing of the memories of this tour… it was so special because of what you brought to it, your passion, your sense of humor, your attention to detail, the amount that you prepared for it the amount that you cared about it.

‘That is what I hope you get from this – how much you brought this tour to life.’

The 33-year-old said she was ‘so proud of the band and dancers and everyone who went on stage and gave 100 per cent no matter what they were going through in their lives.’

‘In sickness and in health – we did our show,’ she joked. ‘But the reason we were able to is because of what we knew we were walking out to and getting to dance with and look at and sing with, which was you.’

Fellow superstar Beyoncé, 42, made a surprise appearance at the premiere, donning a very racy ensemble that featured a shiny metallic silver custom breastplate from LaQuan Smith, a clinging black catsuit, and black leather platform booties.

Afterwards, Taylor shared a sweet snap that showed her and the star sitting together in the audience, while thanking her for showing her support.

‘I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without @Beyonce‘s influence,’ she captioned it.

‘The way she’s taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility.

‘She’s been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairytale.’

Other celebrity attendees included Flavor Flav, Mariska Hargitay, Maren Morris, Molly Sims, Simu Liu, Jenna Davis, and Violet McGraw.

Missing from the fan-packed action was Taylor’s rumored new beau, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, 34, who was likely busy preparing for his team’s upcoming game against the Denver Broncos, which will take place today in Kansas City.
