KIM Kardashian’s former bodyguard claims the superstar’s terrifying gunpoint robbery in Paris was “an inside job” calling the incident ‘karma’.
Ex-cop Steve Stanulis, who was sacked by Kanye West for flirting with Kim, also said he “isn’t surprised” that the A-list couple were targeted by ruthless criminals – because their security is “very lax.”

Reality TV star Kim, 35, was tied up and robbed at gunpoint by a gang of masked thugs who broke into her plush Paris apartment on Monday.
She was left “badly shaken’ after the thieves stole £8million worth of jewellery including Kim’s £3.5 million engagement ring.
Kim’s bodyguard Pascal Duvier was out protecting the star’s two younger sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner at the time of the incident.
Former employee Stanulis made the sensational ‘inside job’ claims on Australian radio station KIIS 1065.
He said: “It was totally an inside job guys, the way the whole thing it unfolded it was too clean.
“When I say inside job, it’s either somebody from their camp or somebody from the hotel.
“They got into a room when the only security guard was out, and they knew where the jewellery was.
“It was the perfect opportunity on every level.”
But Stanulis praised under-fire Duvier calling him “awesome” insisting the Kardashians need to hire more security.

He gave an example of how “lax” Kim and Kanye’s security was during his tenure as their bodyguard.
Stanulis said: “I’d be waiting for Kanye to come out a restaurant.
“He’d come out with a couple of buddies, there wouldn’t be room for me in the car so he’d tell me to get a taxi.”
He added: “When you follow them in New York he likes you 10 paces behind. If somebody tackles you, I’m not going to get there to stop it.”
Kim, who has 48million followers on Twitter and 84.1million on Instagram, is often seen flaunting her ‘bling’ online and while in public.
Former NYPD officer Stanulis said her team need to boost their security or risk being targeted again.
While speaking with the Mail Online, he said: “For $300 a day they could have a fully trained former police officer with them. That is peanuts to people with their kind of wealth.”
“Kim lives and breaths on the internet.
“She has nearly 50 million people who at any moment and on any day know where she is.
“And then she shows them this mighty great expensive rock on her hand a few hours before and she invites trouble.
“She could fall prey to stalkers, crazy fans or criminals like this weekend at any time and she and Kanye now have to take this as a warning.”
Former bodyguard Stanulis was fired by hip-hop mogul West in May for reportedly flirting with Kim.
Stanulis has claimed Kanye was “a little high maintenance” as a client and even labelled the robbery ‘karma’.

He said: “I don’t know if I could have taken down five assailants with guns, [or] it could be karma coming around.”
French investigators reportedly also believe the robbers were ‘tipped off’ by someone working with the A-list power couple or at the Parisian hotel.
Speaking with new outlet Page Six, a police source said: “French police suspect that the five alleged robbers had some contact with her security and were tipped off about her procedures,” they claimed.
“They knew there was no security [with her inside her apartment that night]. All they had to do was go in, make contact with someone inside the hotel.
“They have issues with story of more than one worker at the hotel. They are also talking to bodyguards who worked with her earlier in the week.”
Fashion legend Karl Lagerfeld says Kim should not be “surprised” that she was targeted by armed gunman.
The Telegraph reports that Chanel creative director Lagerfeld, 83, has criticised Kim’s lack of security and her love of flashing her ‘bling’ on social media.
He said: “I don’t understand why she was in a hotel with no security and think like this.
“If you are famous and you put all your jewellery on the net, you go to hotels where nobody can come near to the room.”
“You cannot display your wealth and then be surprised that some people want to share it with you.”
